Today was mum's birthday so she decided to go to the beach. We drove to a place called Duga Uvala, a little bay on the east coast of Istria. The beach was rocky and there were lots of sea urchins in the water, but we had our water shoes so were ok. The water was still cold but today was the warmest day so far so we were able to stay in quite a long time. Mum and I went snorkelling right across the bay. ... obstacles on this final course included a skateboard over a wire rope, wobbly hanging logs, and scrambling over cargo nets. I did everything and thought I was really brave. I don't think dad could do it! The owner of the park then offered to order pizza for our lunch. While we were waiting for it to be delivered, Jacob and I went on the 3G swing. We were strapped onto a log which ...

Today we headed to a small village close to our villa where there is an awesome high ropes centre. First we had to get our harnesses on and be shown how to use the carabiners. It all seemed quite easy so we set off on the basic course. This one was 2 metres high. The was a tightrope, a short zip line, a net bridge and a wooden rickety bridge. After this we moved on to the intermediate course ...
