... The next day I got to pass by the Bahá'í temple, located about 2-3 minutes walking from Simon's house. Bahá'ií is a really small religion, and there are only 7 temples in the entire world for people of this religion to go to. It was pretty crazy that the only one in all of Europe was located so close to where I was staying.

Christmas day was the last day I was spending in Germany, and I realized after eating so much great food I needed to start exercising more. There was ...

... to German for so long I kept getting confused, thinking I was hearing English or French. Tina assured me it was still German lol. After this we got back to her home and sat down to watch Skyfall with a bottle of German beer. It was AMAZING to watch Skyfall now, as much of it was filmed in London and I recognized many of the places - in fact the whole setting looked familiar to me :) The next day, Tina and I went out shopping, had ...

Anyway I needed to go and get a sim sorted so I have Internet, can't travel like this without it, bookings changes etc all need it. The little phone shop ended up sorting a sim for my Ipad, too long to explain the fun with sims, suffice to say ...

... McDonald's, where it was fun to have to point to the menu because our server had no idea of English. Lucky Big Mac holds true in all languages, so I found it was pretty easy. As in Amsterdam, it was also remarkably similar to home, except for the bun which again was more toasted and warm. We got back to the hotel, joined Johnny for a well earned drink in the room, and then hit the sack, keen to get a good night's sleep for a massive day in Frankfurt tomorrow. One week ...

... There was a fairly quick layover in Frankfurt, which was time enough to check out a German McDonald’s menu. Mostly similar, but they’ve got a curry beef and curry chicken burger…that’s new! Hopped on another plane to Zagreb, Croatia. It was only an hour-long flight but they gave us lunch!  Zagrab was about 33 degrees when we arrived which was not exactly refreshing, but my brother-in-law was kind enough to meet ...
