Arriving in Basel
We arrived earlier this afternoon in Basel. Flight delayed 30 minutes leaving Houston so had to run to catch plane in Frankfurt. Switzerland - Day 13
... caught and is owned by a husband and wife from Hottwil. The food is all traditional Swiss and tasted amazing, Tommy and I both had a cordon bleu, fantastic and I had Rosti with mine which is grated potato semi fried a traditional Swiss dish. Petra ordered deer, caught locally which we both had a taste of Bambi...it tasted like a really tendered beef however I think now I have tried it I am content just sticking to what I know.

After an hour or so we arrived back in the Hottwil region and grabbed some groceries for dinner. We had such a lovely evening, another traditional diner prepared for by Petra which consisted of a Pork fillet, long and skinny slightly cooked in a fry pan, wrapped in ham then wrapped in short crust pastry and popped in the oven for 30min.
