    ... out what platforms etc
we needed to go to as our tour-guide was simply almost non existent.
By now all the party was taking the mickey out of this virtually non
existent tour guide. We had quite a few nicknames for her but the most
appropriate one in my opinion was "The Ghost".

us standing looking around wondering where to go or what to do. She was totally

Enjoyed one of our few later starts today - on the coach at 8.00 am. More hours of driving, to Switzerland today - through a 17 km tunnel. We also stopped for a quick look at the Lion monument ...

Our Swiss experience was beyond anything I could have expected, beside the cheese and the chocolate Lucerne took out the prize for most beautiful city ever! Buildings hundreds of years old surrounded a gorgeous lake in the centre of the city. There were swans floating over the lake and felt like we were walking through a real life Disney movie. We saw a few of the towns attractions including the Lion Monument, dedicated to the 700 Swiss army soldiers who ...

... people standing in the road either side checking cars in and out, but just as it came to our turn, our customs guy decided he had had enough and walked off and we just drove straight on through. I must admit I felt a bit cheated - I had our passports, our vehicle reg document, driving insurance, driving permits and Green Card all at the ready and..........not so much as a "Welcome to Switzerland"!!

We plugged Loni's address into ...
