... had a walk along the lake. A much wider boulevard than in Bellagio and the trees that lined the lake quite different again. When we returned to Porcino we found that our room had been invaded by flies. Moreno moved us to the fly free downstairs room and then ensued a moment of comedy gold... Marco and Moreno in true Italian campness, hands gesticulating, cries of "terrible" hoovering up ...
... br> It stayed sunny until two minutes after we sat on a bench overlooking the cobalt blue Lago di Lamar to eat our lunch. We had time to make it to shelter under the trees before the hailstones started. Two herons seemed to be enjoying the weather as they swooped and glided across the lake surface. Now seems as good a time as any to reveal that ...
... it was something I'll never, ever forget! Thanx Mumsie! All that standing outside shops waiting, was worth it!
I had about 7 minutes to race around the amazing museum before the coach took us back to Riva Del Garda. I was pretty ****** off that we only got an hour there - I was quite happy to miss the museum to get my drive in - but it would have been nice to able to spend a few hours in this famous place! Pretty obviously Trafalgar don't cater for rev head ex-farmers!
