    ... Home to a beautiful central square built around a cathedral. Daily markets spring up in the center and it makes a good place to whittle the day away waiting for the evening shows.

    The last day of the conference.

    I was a bit late as usual but I did get to see my mate the professor, the bloke I happened to run into in Abu Dhabi. I must say he had one of the best talks actually. A bit idiosyncratic as he's always pushing the reading of great books in the original, but he did have some interesting points to make about the efficacy of reading in terms of acquiring vocab quickly.
