... makes me tired thinking about it. It was also raining hard and thundering this morning, so it was nice to just lay in bed and doze. Instead of being up at 600 I was up at 730. I like my mornings early because no one else feels the need to be down in studio at that time and I get to be alone. The only other people who are up at that hour are Chris and sometimes Greg, but Greg has usually just stayed up all night.

... just a beauty. The wine was on its peak and just in the perfect age for drinking. The acidity and tannins were very well balanced and the texture was smooth with a good length to it. Definitely a wine I could drink with a nice meal over the whole evening. Just beautiful!

Next we tasted a 2001 Barolo followed by the Vintage of 2004. Both of these wine very already very good. The tannins were quite strong but definitely you could enjoy those once already. For ...

Today we got up at around 8am and I had an absolut amzing night sleep after I went to be last night at 11pm. I slept so well that you could have carrying me out of my room and put me into the vinyard without me noticing it till the nest morning.

... Followed by a Grappa which is produced by Enricos grapes. As well we tasted his dessert wine, which was quite interesting. It had a good hint of a nice herb liquor and I absolutly loved it. Especially I fought the whole day with my voice as I kept loosing it. However as soon as I tasted that wine my throat was suddenly cleared and I found my voice back.
