This morning started with ordering omelettes at one of the only restaurants here that serves a 'normal' breakfast. This restaurant reminded me of America, instead this one has views to the Arena. However it was more than normal-the spinach omelette I ordered looked more like a giant pizza! It was a normal omelette in the middle but it was surrounding by what looked like pizza crust but tasted like bread! It was amazing to taste, but I opted only to eat the egg part to try ...

Early morning stroll down to the pier for our last look at Venice on a water taxi. There are hundreds of bicycles left at the pier, and strangely, none of them are locked. We're immediately struck by Tramin's lack of Italian character... none of the signs are ...

... shopping and then we all walked along the foreshore of the lake which was very calm with swans, ducks and beautiful flowers. One of the churches we went into dated back to 948 AD. We ate at one of the many beautiful Italian restaurants that surround our apartment. Tomorrow is meant to be sunny again so we will be up early exploring some more sites around Lake Garda before driving about 40 mins to ...

... has a great skyline with duomos, castellos, the water and more. Unfortunately, today is Monday so quite a bit was closed including the Palazzo Ducale. We saw several churches – the Duomo was good and there was some sort of police service happening – could have been a funeral. However the Basilica di Sant’ Andrea was truly beautiful with loads of tromp loulle painting on the walls and ceiling – most of it looking surprisingly good quality 3D. The little ...
