Puerto Limón

... active port, serviced by both trucks from all over the country and still some rail cars from the south.

Puerto Limón is located in the province of Limón. The city is not a tourist destination. And we were told by multiple folks in San José that “it’s just a city”. However, we were excited to visit the largest city on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica and see some of the history in this old city, ...

Last day in Costa Rica

... to talk to those crazy kids again, we miss them! We chill out a bit longer before retreating to cook dinner. Check out my photos from the day, more adventures to ...

Rican jungle will forever be remembered even if we didn't see the
relatives of Hugo Chavez and Osama Bin Laden (crocodiles) this time
around. We didn't feed the monkeys just like the way they do in
the zoo, or in Disney World. We didn't do the zip lining, or the
canopy jungle ride. There was just not enough time to do all of that
in one day. ...

... stop.

On Nicola's advice we took a taxi to "Rocking J's" ( which is where I am at this minute writing this entry. The place is incredibly interesting... I will write in detail tomorrow... it's place that caters to surfers mainly, but there other types of people here. Nicolas and I registered here, the third guy went someplace else. We registered, got our places and our "lockers" (security is a problem here). We ...
