... and Meg's artichoke hearts and cold chicken made us feel tres Parisienne. Attempting to study this afternoon. We are just back from what we thought was a Turkish/Lebanese restaurant, a bit disappointed. Then we started noticing the subtle stars of David, it wasn't Jasmin's in Auburn! I don't think Israel is high on our list, we will just put it down to "Kosher"! On our walk home a flower shop was having an open night with music on the street. ...

They took us to the coast for the day last Saturday and we visited - of all places - ORford!! Okay, it is slightly bigger than our Orford and it has a castle of its own. The castle dates back to Henry II and it is fabulous. It's in pretty ...

... to make eye contact (or God forbid, you smile) at a stranger on the metro, if its a man ......he’ll think you’re a crazy, and if its a woman ..... she’ll think you’re trying to pick her up!

    Moral of the story
So if you want to appear like a "veritable" Parisien in France - stay slim, dress fashionably, avoid eye-contact with people, dangle a cigarette from your lips.. and speak to the tourists in English!
