... caves. The stalactites that are so particular to this cave are called “soda straw” stalactites. They are on average 4 mm wide and hollow inside! They hang with lots in a group and look really fine. The longest one is 1.3 m long and 6 mm wide. ... we left, he went back inside the store and came out with a bottle of wine and told us that it was on the house. It was a real pleasant surprise and very kind of him! We headed back to camp and that evening, Rod made a delicious stir-fry for dinner which we all had no trouble polishing off. ... up and luckily there was lots of space for both vans to pull over for some photos. There was also a herd of goats just down the hill and Anoop popped down to take some pics of them. We thought their horns were really neat because they had a spiral to them. Eventually the goats decided to cross the road which stopped a few bikes and cars on the way!

We arrived in Le Bourg d’Oisans in the early afternoon which gave us lots of time to set up ...
