... fall I saw colors of Autumn. I love it. When we arrived to Granada the first thing that went through my head was that it was quite different than Malaga. The bus drive parked the bus in front of our hotel which was in the center of the city and we had about ten minutes to go to the bathroom. I did that but then I thought that I would have gotten a better first experience in Granada by quickly leaving the group and walking down the road. I´m glad ...
Granada, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands skivail89... every couple of minutes I would feel a tugging at the bottom of my skirt and would then see a small crowd of little 5-year-olds pulling at my tail. Hehe.

We had a poorly organized Halloween party in my 6th grade classroom on the Friday before Halloween too. I felt like more of a zookeeper than a teacher. I was supposed to give the kids a little summary of what we do for Halloween in the US and maybe a little bit of the history of Halloween, but that ...
Granada, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands juliannamargare... and I told them I was going to try my best to create a schedule that worked.

The next day I was all prepared to present these two schedules to them - one based on the old one (Random Classes) and one based on the new one (English classes). I was able to compact them into 3 days or 4 with the meeting. The one problem was that one of the 6th grade classes had 15 minutes less than it should have had.

First of all in order to get them to talk to ...

It was nice but it seemed plain at first until we reached the church....WOW! Granada, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands joe_menardi... were brought to life by the some locals. They march down the streets of Granada with these puppet giants.

An orchestra entertained the crowd as we waited with classical spanish music. A marching band preceeded the giant heads, and played very lively music, that you couldn´t resist moving to. What a way to start the day!

I took several pictures but suddenly, the battery on my camera died ...
Granada, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands tpelaia... speak Arabic as Spanish. After arrival I went to the supermarket, which was so small that you had to choose you yoghurt while waiting in line to buy the products, but well. I went to bed early, didn't sleep much though, lots of noise and people coming in and out as well as that strangely enough it was rather hot. 8 feb Very early in the morning, I went to the Alhambra. Yesterday I had reserved a general ticket online. It opened at 8.30 so I got up at 6 ...
Granada, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands maysun... headed back down to the hostel and sat and drank a bottle of wine and chilled out on the roof top terrace. Watched the sun set and then made it inside for dinner. I met a couple in Barcelona a couple days prior and they had made it to Granada a day after I arrived. Steve decided he was making Spanish Omlettes for everyone and I wasn´t going to argue. A night of not cooking, I was pretty happy. I am more then happy to pay for groceries, and do the clean ...

Granada, Spain boldtel... and a distinctly different feel from the rest of Granada. After a really long day Lee and I enjoyed an outdoor cafe, Alhambra Pizza Restaurant, on Plaza Trinidad. Dinner was good but we were really looking forward to a return visit to Los Italianos for dessert. We tried their Birthday Cake ice cream which was pretty close to an actual piece of ice cream birthday cake inserted into a cone. I´m simplifying it but it was delicious! 6/15 Being on the go all of the time, I haven´t ...
