... two restaurants gave us raki that could have been confused for vodka, this time the raki was smooth and almond flavored, perfect for sipping as we gazed out over the harbor hustle and bustle. After dinner we wandered through the streets and alleys within the old city wall. It is a great place to people watch and e architecture is beautiful. A note about restaurants. I realize that I may later want the names of restaurants we have enjoyed to recommend to others so ...

... fantastic seafood. At the end of the meal we were given free desserts and shots of vodka, an interesting way to end lunch! Kyle and I wandered the alleys a bit more before joining Ally and Blair back at e hotel for a rest. Tonight we plan on watching the sunset from the rooftop hot tub before heading to a restaurant in the city's old Turkish bath. We are already regretting only giving ourselves 3 days on this incredible ...

Stick a Fork In Us...We're Done

Despite the amazing experiences, sites, and scenery, Dorothy recognized a truth that really rings true with our family: "There's no place like home." To some, it might sound ridiculous, but we are tired. On a cruise in the Mediterranean people ask us, "So, did you get off the ship today?" The easy answer is, "No." Jennifer eats a hot dog every day, because there are no proper hot dogs ...

... Along the way, we miraculously found an open gas station (cash only) and filled up our rental car for 60€. At 8:45 we were back much to the glee of the front desk. "You are marathon hikers!" they exclaimed in their adorable and prototypical Greek accents. While the ladies showered, Tom walked to a nearby Gyros Grill and 30 minutes later he was back and we all enjoyed dinner on our balcony. The entire meal was 7.70€, less than Sue's Greek salad from the ...
