Comfortable and good sized room
Breakfast is good, but guests get poor coffee from the cheap machine while staff get their coffee from the proper one!
Location is not so good, being 25 minutes walk from the Sants Railway Station (for the airport and TVE trains) and 15 minutes to the nearest metro station.

A Great Base For A Fantastic Break
Stayed at this hotel first week of June for a five day break.Booked hotel direct through their own web site as this was the best deal available!!! A quality hotel just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre but close enough to walk to main attractions or a ten minute walk to several metro stations.Airport shuttle bus stops 5 minutes up the road.Rooms very clean and spacious with large tiled bathrooms(good shower & plenty of hot water)Mini bar available at reasonable prices.Staff pleasant and helpful and all spoke good english. Hotel will hold your luggage for you after checking out if you have late flights.
Barcelona is the most beautiful city with some of the most breathtaking architecture and views.
What more can I say - book this hotel and see for yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stayed her for 4 nights at the end of April 2004. Very good location and very modern and comfortable accomodation throughout. Would have no hesitation to recommend this hotel to friends and would stay here again. Picked this hotel from previous comments made on Trip Advisor by other satisfied customers !!
Comfortable and economic hotel
A great value for what it offers: a clean room with modern bathroom. Excellent buffet breakfast, though at a charge of 12 euros per person. The only thing to keep in mind is that staff is not eager and, perhaps, not sufficiently informed, to answer questions regarding restaurants, places to visit, etc. Maybe their limited command of English is a factor. Although several blocks from the nearest underground station, Barcelona is a walking city and it never posed a problem. On the whole, a nice place to stay at a most reasonable rate.
Very Good Hotel
We stayed in this lovely hotel for 3 nights in April 2004. We reserved online in advance. Location was excellent, 20 minutes walk from La Rambla, and 10 minutes walk from the major train station of Barcelona -- which helped us a lot when we got in by airplane and got out by train. We got a good corner room which was very quiet. Room and bathroom were very clean, TV had CNN. Note about the hotel staff: some were friendly and helpful, some were totally non-friendly; For example, when we asked them about the exact time of the BullFight, the guy was very friendly and looked it up in the local newspaper for us (the answer is Sundays at 6 pm, by the way). However, when we asked another female receptionist about a train schedule to the Dali museum, she simply refused to help us (while the info was available to her on the Internet easily); and when we asked whether the Dali museum is open on Mondays, again, she made absolutely no effort to find out (the answer is No, by the way), and in both cases we had to drag our (tired) feet to an Internet cafe and look up the info ourselves (it took us 2 minutes to find the answers online). Bottom line: hotel is very good, but some of the staff are not very cooperative. Having said that, I would stay there again and recommend to friends.
My unforgattable honeymoon stay!!!!
We were extremly surprise by the way they treat us. Is such a charming Hotel , full of details and incredible atmosphere. The first time we arrived at AB Viladomat Hotel I feel like home. The receptionist was waiting for us with a huge smile. After doing the check in he congratulate us for our weeding and give us a Room with Terrace ( excellent views ). What my surprise when we arrived at this marvellous wooden floor , marble bathroom I saw a bootle of champagne and fruits.... The concierge was extremly carefull in all the details and help us in all our needs ( Excursions , Rent a Car , Restaurants....
The breakfast is the best I ever had in my life: scrumbbled eggs , bacon , sausages , natural orange juice , expresso coffee 4 types of cake all types of pastries even croissant with white chocolate. If you want to know our opinion is absolutly excellent stay in a charming brand new Hotel in a modern stlyle
This hotel helped to make our stay in Barcelona fantastic! Friendly staff that helped a lot when reserving restaurants, tourist bus, flamenco show, etc .. they had all what you needed. Rooms have all what you need and really appreciated the early morning free coffee service.
This hotel was situated in an excellent location - not too far away from a tube train, the staff were very friendly and the room was very clean. Overall an excellent stay and good value for money for the price paid! 10/10
We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights at the end of Feb 2004 and it was a really nice hotel. Our room was lovely, marble bathroom, wooden floors, good wardrobe space and good heating and air conditioning is needed.
The hotel is in a good spot - not directly in the centre of the city but within easy walking distance of all the sites. Staff were very friendly and the hotel was spotless. Will definitely go back.
Stayed here October 2003, very nice hotel situated in business area about 20 mins walk from main city centre. Hotel is very modern, rooms were very nice and very clean and friendly staff, would definately stay here again.
My wife and I stay here 2 nights. The hotel is fairly new and our room was great. Service was also very good. We had a great internet special rate which made it a bargin. Will stay there again.

I woke around 2am to the dulcet tones of Gill snoring! After scrabbling in the darkness, I quickly found a pair of my ear plus and shoved them in! After showers we headed out for the day. I was hungry and it was convenient to where I was at the time, so it was a logical and predictable place to stop for a meal. I went out again in the late afternoon and decided to take one of the Hop On/Hop Off Bus tours. The blue Barcelona Turistic Bus ...
