          Comfortable and good sized room
          Staff indifferent
Breakfast is good, but guests get poor coffee from the cheap machine while staff get their coffee from the proper one!
Location is not so good, being 25 minutes walk from the Sants Railway Station (for the airport and TVE trains) and 15 minutes to the nearest metro station.

we dump our bags say hello to 4 Americans sharing our room and head off to get
some food. Not much is still serving so we get some delish wok noodles and eat
          back at the hostel.

The next morning I wake up early and have
breakfast but learn quickly that Spanish people do not refrigerate milk so the
muesli I have is off puttingly warm but I soldier on cus I am fairly tough. I
even left the hostel by myself the night before and got cash ...

          ... like little ginger bread
houses… it was breathtaking. We took the metro back to our hostel and were
slightly disappointed to learn the kitchen had closed for a private event. We
got ready for a night out and finally ‘met’ our room mates who were slightly
embarrassed of the notes they had been leaving us and spoke no English or Spanish.
I wore hot pink pants and decided to take some fashion risk in barca. We found
a small restaurant at the metro stop ...

... are closed regularly for cycling races here, the sport enjoys a much more friendly attitude from authorities and the public than at home.

And whenever we have come across road works there have not been the thousands of cones and completely excessive traffic management we are forced to put up with at home.

Coming into Barcelona I was glad of the Sat. Nav. as we changed autopistas and dual carriage way roads several times in the last 20 kms and got to our hotal without ...

we left the apartment and on our way to find the cathedral. Once we found the Cathedral Dave made us walk around and around looking for a place to sit and have a drink we ordered wine and beers and then she showed up on her bike! Hello nice to meet you! by then we (minus Dave) were all in our happy ...
