As the sun had come out I decided to go for a camp in the Arctic even if it was 5 miles out! I refuelled again at Rovaniemi where I found a campsite, Motelli Rovaniemi, and got out the tent again at long last.
Then began the battle with the midges, good job I had brought some repellant, even so they still got me through my clothes.

... Sodankylä gereden rond 18u30, efkes de boel gaan verkennen (voor ontbijt en Sousou hare koffie). Onderweg hebben we voor het eerst onze witte (albino) rendier gezien. Een beetje verlegen maar hij staat toch op foto.
Nu op zoek naar een slaapplaats.
