The machine ONLY took half franc coins, Ben and I only had 1 francs and ONE half franc!! ... Noelene was very careful not to trip as her shoes were not the best for rough terrain. Noelene got wobbly knees before the final steep descent and a lovely young girl who was walking up the trail helped John support Noelene as she walked down the steep path. She was pretty shaken up.
