... half way up a mountain. At one stage we saw a rope but no climbers! We stayed up there for a couple of hours just taking in the views. I wasn't much good in the tunnels or ice caves, a bit claustrophobic and short of breath. You had to walk down this long tunnel to get to the snow. I didn't make it. I'm glad we went early as, coming back down, we passed train after train packed full of people. The restaurant at the top can seat 700 people! As it ...

... a few things to be ticked off my list to see and do in Switzerland. One is to reach the summit of the mountain Jungfrau (which the locals call the 'top of Europe’), see the famous subterranean waterfalls that Lord Byron immortalised in his poetry and also tackle one of my biggest fears, taking a skydive from a helicopter. The downward trend in the forest took a toll on our knees, but the walk was well worth it as we had a spectacular view of the mountains from pretty much every side. Once we reached the bottom, we took plenty of photos of the Murrenbach falls and then caught the lift back up the sheer cliff face ...

... from Australia travelling Europe and jumping. This was a popular area because a gondola would take them up the mountain near their jumping site. They would do 6-8 jumps a day. A seasoned jumper has 150-200 jumps in his history and 600-700 skydives. I asked them where their mothers were and one man replied, "Worrying at home and getting her grey hair dyed." ;-) A Squirrel suit will run you about $1200-$1500, and their shoots ...
