    We left Dubrovnik quite early as we knew we had a long drive ahead of us. Was that ever right, although it was beautiful to drive we didn't stop for many things because the beauty was in the landscapes that stretched as far as you could see so you got to take it in as we drove.     ... bucket loads & we ran for shelter. Once it cleared we walked to the fortress for views of the city through the battlements. Our " local" is called "Two Deer" & a Macedonian national restaurant. It has wonderful house specialities, beautiful wines, lovely staff & great service.
