Fun fact that komodo dragon baby was the first one that the Singapore zoo was able to breed in 34 years which was a huge accomplishment because they're going extinct so I thought that that was pretty cool. Some more details about the city: It is the 4th most expensive city in the world, a bottle of water costs about 3 S$, cheap meals can be eaten at the so called hawker centers, and everything seems to be forbitten, the city is full of penalty signs -e.g. 500S$ penalty for eating or drinking in the metro train - actually, you are only allowed to breathe *haha*

... next week there will be 3 of us! :) Currently in my hostel in Singapore wide awake- sleeping next to a Chinese "doctor" who is sleeping sat up, wearing the skimpiest denim hotpants I've ever seen, and a very small gold puffa jacket. I shall try and get a pic in the morning! Only landed a few hours ago so not had a have to explore yet. I best try and sleep... ...
