... Lauren took me up to a bar ontop of one of the hotels next to us and we sat there and had a few drinks and enjoyed the stunning views of Singapore.
Unfortunately Lauren had to work all day on Sunday, so I ran around town exploring. Went to see the Flower and Cloud Domes, which were air conditioned, so nice to get out of the heat in.
Monday was much the same as Lauren had to work again, so I wandered around town and checked out Fort Canning gardens, ...
... the pavement; I bet we walked a good couple of miles that day in the blistering heat! Overall though, a fantastic day, and well worth a visit if you ever end up with a free day in Singapore! Our day was by no means over though; we headed back to our rooms for a shower and change and straight back out.

Monday - We decided to get the hop on hop of bus today as I know that it is to hot and humid for me to be walking around and still feeling not well and Des seems a little tired also. All the things (except Chinatown and Clarke Quay) that we have seen were seen from the bus. We haven't bothered to do anything else and tomorrow (our flight is 8.20pm from here) we are just going ...
Final post from Singapore Airport. I am half way home. The 12 hour flight was not too bad. In my opinion Singapore Airlines is one of the better airlines to fly with. Three hours between flights and some of the time spent on the long walk between gates. I was very grateful to Peter who got up early and helped me to get my heavy suitcase to the station and on to the train to the airport. It was all very easy from there.
