    ... to say a big thank you to Cat, my former colleague who very kindly put together a few bits and sent them to over to me - they included notes from 2 more of my former colleagues, the latest BCC catalogue (signed by models Jo and Cat), 2 nail varnishes and a tin of vaseline! Only the last item was a request from me, so thanks Cat for the thoughtful parcel.

    PS - I'm watching Escape to the County on BBC Lifestyle. The couple are moving away from Ilford! Bit of a co-incidence eh?

    ... the extraordinary experiences of those interned there during the war. Was moved by all the stories but especially the ones by the women - their story doesn't make the books or the movies very often but was just as terrible as the ones we hear most about.     ... pressing on our feet too hard and would adjust according to our references. We went for free and easy after that and got some lunch before returning to our hotel for the day.

    We had such a pleasant experience at Chinatown, I wouldn't mind admitting that it is much better than the one we have in Hong Kong! My friends and I are looking forward to coming back again, and we will definitely recommend it to our families.
