    ... concierge, checked out and headed over to the gardens for an early breakfast. We got there just before 9am, when the indoor sections of the Gardens officially opened, expecting to be able to stop somewhere for breakfast before heading inside. Surprisingly there was nothing open. We found once place right next to the gift shop, but when Wendy asked if they were open the owner said only from 10.30am.

    Took the MRT ( subway train) into the city looking around trying to stay dry. Interesting arcades and food halls. Enjoyed the indoor gardens in the cool dry and wet environments.
