Shine bright like a diamond
... Het was een heel fijn gesprek, maar ik vond het heel erg om te horen hoe verschrikkelijk veel pijn ze had. De gedachte dat ze nu geen pijn meer heeft zal mij helpen dit verlies te verwerken. De tekst op de rouwkaart raakte mij heel erg en ik denk dat dit heel mooi verwoordt hoe het voor tante Els geweest is:
Waarom al dat vechten, waarom al die pijn
Je wilde hier niet weg, je wilde bij ons zijn
De strijd was oneerlijk en geheel niet ...
Die ordentliche Stadt
... wurde es Zeit Singapur mal von oben zu sehen. Wir machten uns also auf den Weg in den "Singapur Flyer", dem weltweit größten Riesenrad. Kleine Probleme gab es hierbei nur bei 2 Personen, da einer Höhenangst hatte und der andere nicht gerne Gondel fährt-Rücksicht haben wir natürlich keine genommen und alle mussten mit! Man hatte eine super Aussicht und es war auf jeden Fall die Zeit und Geld wert.

Day 4 - Singapore Zoo & Night Safari
... why / how the seal got there and whether it had a better life in the zoo. We sat in the 3rd row from the front and the seal does a trick where is throws water at the audience. We realised that the seats of the first 2 rows were painted blue....there was no escape – we also got soaked LOL
We also saw white tigers. They aren’t albino tigers as we initially thought – they are off ...
Stunning Singapore
... would normally be in a Zoo, which was an added bonus. We then grabbed an Indian as a group, which was delicious, and went on a walking trail to see crocodiles and other water animals. The group panicked about time, but me and Francesca decided to be brave and continue onto the leopard trail. We had such a laugh as we was running late so decided to run the whole trek, through the rainforest, and made it back in time. It was such a buzz and such a great feeling having a crazy ...
Sightseeing in Singapore
... nearest station. Fortunately we had checked out a google map on a free internet terminal in the airport so we had some idea which part town the hotel was in and took a stab at kallang as being the one we needed.
Note to self- yomping with a backpack in hot weather is hard work – so make extra effort to check all instructions to find hotel before hand.
