Flight to Sydney was quick and we took a shuttle to our hostel by the railway. Couldn't check in yet because was too early, so we stored our bags and walked around. We ended up at Circular Quay and walked around Sydney Opera House and along the waterfront. Went back to hostel and settled in and had a rest since we had to get up at 3:30 am to catch our 6:00 flight. Hats off to my cousin Nick for getting up that early to drive us. ... that there was a problem with the #2 engine's computer. They tried to work it out there, but by 10:30 decided we needed to return to the gate and offload. Thankfully because we were upstairs, we got to go to the Qantas Business Lounge, whilst the other Economy passengers were simply given food vouchers. Four hours later we were told they had fixed the first problem but in doing so, discovered another. So we finally got away 5 ...
... Garry and Beverly. Their hospitality and Jan and Beverly's cooking was exceptional and the best meals we had throughout our entire trip. ... very warm but it is windy and rocky. The doors are closed to my track so it is hard to get points for walking today. Sea days are lovely when it is sunny and you can sit by the pool. As this is not an option although the pool has opened again. We had a lovely breakfast and then went to try our hands at movie trivia. They show a photo and you guess the name of the movie some are very hard but we manage to come in second. I am good at guessing the stars names ...

We can't believe it's our last week in Sydney! Alicia left us on Monday morning to go and meet a friend then head up to the Blue Mountains.
