Hotel 41 At Times Square
Travel Blogs from New York City
After the civils right trip were were able to stop and spend time with Peter’s Aunt Dee and his cousin Cindy and her husband Rob in Arkansas. From Arkansas we headed to Branson Missouri where we spent a night and saw two shows. I know in a previous blog we said we wouldn't be back in Branson soon but it was on the way up north so we made …
It's tomorrow in New Zealand while it is today here in the US. My conference has ended and I am on vacation on the way to New York.
I met my pen pal in Atlanta whom I have been in touch since 30 years ago and have not met till this week. We went to Stone Mountain Park the night before and last night took a Segway tour of Atlanta using one …
... in with you, there is a clock on the wall and the second hand moves but the time doesn't. You can party all night if you want to. We were there for a pre wedding catch up with Kate and Frank so some of the guests that couldn't make it to the wedding could still be involved. Just a bonus and more time with the happy couple for those of us who can. I ended up taking a taxi home, as much as it would probably have been fine ...
... was unbelievably easy and cheap. Unfortunately, REI did not have the award winning sleeping bag that I wanted, and I ended up only buying a traveling towel, and a pair of shorts, which could also be shorts. After asking where one might be able to buy the sleeping bag, I went to Eastern Mountain Sports. Fortunately, they has the sleeping bag, medical Kit, fanny pack, hiking boots and lock For baggage. Luckily, I got ...

We hopped off in Chinatown to warm up and find lunch. We lunched at an authentic little 3 table chinese kitchen and ordered won ton soup to warm us. The reviews of the soup were poor but a couple of the other dishes were good. Then it was hop back on the bus to finish the loop. MArilyn and Linda were the only ...

Historical Traveler Reviews Hotel 41 At Times Square New York City
Wonderful for New York / Estupendo para Nueva York
We recomend to stay at Hotel 41. We stayed for 10 nights. The staff is wonderful and helpful. The room is very clean and chic and the bed was enormous. The bathroom is a bit little, but very charm and clean. We think that its a good place to stay, near everything -tube just crossing the street, the Authority Port Bus Station four minutes walking- and just in the middle of New York. We paid 139$ plus taxes breakfast included.
Hip Little Place
Stayed there for 2 days, Dec 26th and the 27th. Hotel looked hip and chic, room was very clean as was bar area which, although small, had a chic SoBe feel.
Standard Room was EXTREMELY small, however for those who are out seeing the city, who needs a huge room?
Breakfast in the a.m. was nice, had to ask staff for various items cream, sugar, but they were helpful and very nice. (they also have movie library)
We refused housekeeping, seeing as how we were only sleeping there for 2 nights, and discovered housekeeper left a bag with Aveda goodies outside our door, just in case we needed some.
Would recommend to anyone who simply wants a place a crash!
We felt that the hotel and our room was dreary and the breakfast room was a dreary bar with adjacent bathroom that was in need of cleaning.
It looked far better on their website than in person.
This was a great hotel and would recommend it.
I stayed in this hotel with my boyfriend for 5 nights in November, I wanted somewhere that was modern (looked at quite a few hotels on the web and the decor was old fashioned/olde worlde), nice and in a good location. I thought this hotel was in a great location, was very clean, had very helpful/friendly staff and overall a great place to stay for those who can't afford the more luxurious hotels in NYC.
The hotel was in a perfect location for people who don't want to have to drive around. It was right in the center of everything which was great. The staff was really really friendly and helpful and the hotel rooms were really really clean. The rooms were a little on the small side but what can you expect for new york. Overall ,the hotel was a great experience and I would reccomend it to anyone.
I loved the hotel because of the location it was walking distance to everything! The staff was super nice, the room small but very comfortable, has a contemporary modern feel to it. The pillows were the best part of the hotel stay. Highly recommend the hotel if you want to keep your cost down and still be close to everything.
On the positive side, the staff at the Hotel 41 was friendly and courteous. The room was clean, and adequately sized. The location is close to G.C.S. and most theatres.
I highly recommend staying at Hotel 41. It is in an excellent location (right in Times Square), is VERY clean with modern decor and is a great deal too (go to hotel website to make reservations--either $109 or $119 a night on weekends). The service was better than we received at the Four Seasons. The staff is extremely helpful and pleasant and go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The rooms are small, but perfect for couples. The bathroom is bright and clean with a marble floor. Bar 41 is downstairs--we received one free glass of wine each ($20 value) since we were guests. The staff helps you with luggage upon arrival (actually ran out to help us as we got out of our Taxi!) You receive complimentary water upon arrival and complimentary DVDs and newspapers too. We would definitely stay there again!
The Secret of NYC in Times Square
Excellent hotel for young people that need a good bed & shower in the end of a long day of walking in NYC endless streets. Great & Friendly stuff that helps in every way they can to make your staying as pleasent as possible. GO and make a RESERVATION !!!!
This hotel is a gem within Times Square - prefectly located for access to theatres (right next door to Nederland), cinemas, restaurants, Madame Tussauds and the subway. The staff were friendly, professional, and extremely helpful.Rooms are equipped with a dvd player, and there is a complimentary dvd and cd library to borrow from. The double room is small but adequate, with modern furnishings, full sized fridge, writing desk etc. The bathroom is also modern and bright. It is clean and well mantained. They've gone the extra mile to make the rooms tasteful and comfortable, and your stay pleasant. Including complimentary bottled water and drink on arrival.I would certainly stay here again. A+
