On the buses
... time of year there, so we felt some solidarity with our UK comrades. After a few days we got the boat to Ko Jum, a really quiet, beautiful island. Not much there, but if you really want to get away from it all that's the place. We spent 3 days there just walking along the virtually empty beaches, playing violently competitive Jenga and applying anti histamine cream to our bites. Cracking. Then off to Ko Lanta. Well, I’m tired and go outside for a bit… as I remember what Chau did the first day… she went just outside of PV and a lady on the street has some sort of a sweet tasting fruit or veggie...s I purchase 7 or 8 of them… she cuts them into perhaps 60 slices and when I return, I go back to the classroom and the kids can’t love the taste of this sweet fruit enough.

Back in Hanoi - Part 2
Thursday 23rd to Saturday 25th August, 2012
I arrived back in Hanoi from Halong Bay at about 5pm on the Thursday evening. It was a good time to arrive back at the hotel as it was Thursday night which meant complimentary beer and Vietnamese spring rolls between 5.30pm and 7pm!

Seemas City Overview - Hanoi
... I was a little nervous but I loved it! After two days away, we then returned back to Hanoi for another day. We spent the day wondering through the old quarter and wondering around the lake and enjoying the local foods. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Hanoi, it's a lovely little city and the people are very friendly and such a pleasant place to visit. I would love to return here again someday and I would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of visiting ...
