First a weather update for Valencia, Spain. Today has been the first full day of sun with temperatures up in the mid twenties and a clear blue sky. The city of Valencia has expanded out from its old central area on the south bank of the Rio Turia. They have now diverted this flood-prone river to the outskirts of town and have made the old river bed into a park that curls around the North and East of the old city like a green ribbon. ... the square I'd hoped to find and then we meet and greet with our new friends for the next few hours. It is just Konstantin, and a Tasmanian couple joining us. The tour was very good and we found ourselves being taken back through the early days of Valencia and then we suddenly finished and we were back in the square we'd started in, but the city was now a lot more familiar and we settled into the part of getting something for dinner.

... sometimes. Video Girl is yet to see any blisters. They wandered into a shoe store where we were greeted by the shop assistant. Video Girl engaged the shop assistant and appeared to be receiving a Spanish lesson in counting as Battery Boy looked at the shoes. Battery Boy was impressed that Video Girl was trying to improve her grasp on the language.

... of it. I also seen nuns which I had not seen since I came to Europe, and that excited me because I was anticipating the sight of nuns, even though all they were doing was eating. I was fascinated by it all, and I was hoping to see more, and we did.

There was talk of the Plaza de la Virgin, which was an interesting square where a meeting of men from different regions came to talk every Thursday at 12 pm of important water matters, mostly out of tradition now a days, ...

... that the bus driver yesterday had not printed out the boat option. We confirmed this error with the boat ticketmaster and were forced to catch a bus back home. We sorted this error out the next day (another saga) and were printed fresh, correct tickets. The lady informed us that these tickets had started again so we had another three days to use them…free transport for Friday…nice…
