    ... and were down almost a carton of ciggarettes by lunchtime. We followed the Albanians to the next town as they knew good mechanics and spent the next 5 hours there getting the car fixed. More cigarettes were handed out, but we left happy and not ripped off with a working car. it only cost 60euros to fix it, along with a punctured tire we managed to get along the way.
    We reached the Greek border about 9pm, shattered, but absolutely stoked with the Albanian people.

    ... border. It was the first weekend away from Tirana and it was a beautiful (but dangerous) drive along the mountains to the lake. Thankfully the minivan driver was safe enough and didn't allow people to smoke on the van, whereas the drive back to Tirana was with a maniac driver who halved the time to get back!
