The guy from the camping was a fan of old Citroëns and you'd find them parked around the camping side. Old pictures showed his organized meetings for old timers in the recent years and some of the campers came with their camping cars or caravans pulled with an old timer - fun !! As it was raining a little again but it seemed to get better so we went to visit a small town called Chinon about a half an hour away. ... difference at the pool was that men had to wear speedo type bathing suits. If they were wearing typical American swimming trunks, they wouldn't be let in. I haven't been able to figure out why, but that's the norm here. I had a really nice time, and it made me realize how little time we have left. I'm going to miss everyone so much, and hopefully I'll still be able to hang out with everyone once we return to MSU!

... there using the one way streets. This was a good move as we easily worked out where to drive and we were soon at our hotel "Hotel Diderot".

Our hotel is charming and very French! It is surrounded by a delightful garden with many sitting areas outside. Wish we were here for much longer than just overnight! We are on the 2nd storey of the hotel, no lift, so we had to carry the bags up the stairs. Ground to level 1 are good wide stairs, but level 1 to ...
