... children in the water. Site is gorgeous - the bar area extends onto a lawn with more tables and a humongous canapé / dead posh! And a proper restaurant with full menu. After this death defying foot race the cars sort themselves out into their grid positions based on practice times on the back straight and then a rolling start ensues as the cars then race for forty five minutes. After this it all starts again with the next plateau. Each of the six plateau get three runs total time taken approximately 24 hours. Simples!

... site which is aimed at families, so there were a lot of children and young people around ( shock, horror!) Luckily there is a separate area just for MH's which was peaceful and quiet. The site is across the road from the sea at Ravenoville Plage, so it got very misty and foggy and we began to wonder if we had done the right thing.........

We went to check out the MH Aire, which is right on the riverbank, opposite the campsite.

we wandered around the town, went into the church and tried to find the Tourist Office to find out about Cycle paths etc. ...

... if we could find one locally. Being a Ford part we tried Le Mans Ford, they did not have one and pointed us to Flers Ford who did but were 2 hours north, basically back in Caen…. So we did what we always do, we went for lunch to think about it.

Lunch on Friday is always at the Auberge in Malicorne a fantastic village so pretty it almost hurts your eyes. Meanwhile on his way to the petrol station James had guided Thor onto the Mulsanne fir a quick run ...
