A basic room in a great location. Close to shops, buses and metro. One block from Little zinnia. Very friendly reception staff. The room is very quiet considering the city noise. Two queen beds and a fridge. Free bottles of water in your room.

Singapore is beginning to feel a bit like home now, we have been back here so many times, I think the Immigration people here are starting to recognise us.
The flight back here from Bali was just over 2 hours 20 mins and was bang on time, the flight was full and was very good for a budget airline, I think Air Asia have it about right with their …

It's much hotter here than it was in Vietnam and very humid, so just time for a warm up for a few days before we go to Japan (it's gonna be chilly there), but then we will be seeing all the autumn colours on the trees. We don't have very many warm clothes with us so we might need to layer up a bit when we get there.

Singapore is a really nice town but there is nothing special about it. It is very clean and feels safe and there is a real diverse mix of cultures and nationalities that makes it a mixed up place. The food is very diverse as you can see from one of the pictures below. The indian part of the town is just like india and you can eat there really …

A very late start today but understandable as we were eating Oreo biscuits at 4am after we had slept for 8 hours. We bought a travel pass that included a hop on and hop off bus so we did that today. It took us pass Raffles hotel, through China Town and little India also seeing the Gardens by the bay. We then did the millennia walk which is a …
