    ... that were hundreds of years old. However, the highlight of the area was the Barcelona Cathedral. Just an awesome place. The outside was spectacular, but the inside was just jaw dropping.     ... I have had the chance to explore the inside of. I had Beef Tartare for dinner (eeeeekk!!!). Followed by gelato and macarons! Topped off the night with a ferris wheel ride. The Rhone River on my right, the city walls on my left...bliss! I was also lucky enough to have a double bed...that was quite a bonus. On the way out of town we stopped at the Pont du Gard.
