    Three days in Barcelona

    ... we went out at 7 looking for food, nowhere open until 7.30 and most not open until 8pm. Found a coffee shop tho and had a cuppa while waiting for real restaurant to open. Arrived at finally open restaurant who fortunately did have a vaguely english menu translation available so we selected what we wanted to eat, only to be told ( we think, again the language barrier was an issue) that we couldn't order from that part of the menu.....not sure ...

    ... the hilltop village of Begur and its ruined castello, towering over the place with commanding views of the golen coastline, azure seas, the Pyrennes and in fact all the way back to Cadaque- about two/three hours drive. Doese't sound much, but you have to go up, up, up, down, round and along vast plains to get around here. David has been tested,
    driving around, as has our little home on wheels!!

    ... fun and really made the experience for us, plus the dinner was delicious! After dinner, we went next door to the gelataria and the boys got some gelato. We then walked back to the apartment, and we again saw the little tents popped up all along the river- well the one right down the stairs had a bunch of foosball tables, so of course we had to stop and play! I was pleased Kurt picked me for his team even though I suck, and whatever team mark is on always wins! ...

    ... the canal that pulled handles that said wake boarder could grab the handle and go around as if they were on the back of a boat. There were several obstacles in the park that the wake boarders could use for tricks. There were several of them all in a line completing trick after trick.
