... lunch, so we retraced our steps and ended up on Kröpliner Strasse, a wonderful pedestrian mall lined with beautifully restored medieval buildings.

The streets were jammed with people, but they seemed to be locals plus a lot who had cameras and spoke German, possibly domestic tourists. We only saw one small souvenir shop, but plenty of clothing stores, furniture, and books, among others.

Journey's end today. Disembarking at 8am and catching a Princess Cruises bus to Tegel airport for a 2.30pm plane to London. A minor dilemma occurred when Glen took the wrong bag at disembarkation, only to be discovered moments before we drove off for the airport. I shall give her a sound thrashing when we land in London. ... David Catts - very entertaining. Then we went to an in-house TV show called Hollywood You - Movie Madness. A game show using audience participation and beamed throughout the ship. No doubt selling copies of the show to anyone whose head appeared! Which is one aspect of the cruise I already don't enjoy - everyone and everything is trying to sell something. Oh well, we'll try to avoid it as much as we can. Plenty of music around the ship so will look into that as we go ...
