It was the day that Tom Tom really came into play! We knew that the mountain roads would be closed for Le Tour but nobody was able to tell us what time exactly! We started early and very soon encountered the gendarmerie closing roads - it was chaos...camper van drivers throwing fists at police, barriers closing roads. We seemed just one step ahead for most of the time...like a couple of criminals in the get away car! We came to one crossroads and didn't ...

Almost. Jonathan went to a museum in Lehon while I shopped for souvenirs in Dinan. We met under the clock tower at 12 and had lunch in a strange little cafe, quiche and salad followed by ice cream with salted caramel and Breton biscuits, washed down with coffee.
