... the distance and lots of rocky rugged hills with strange knobbly trees clinging onto them like mountain goats. We stopped off at a service area picnic spot for a coffee and snack, a French family had nabbed the best table,they really do know how to picnic, a tablecloth,real plates and glasses and even the dogs water bowl, put our plastic mugs and flask to shame, but we only needed a quick pit stop.
