Early start today. Tante Siggi came in to wake us up----an hour early (lol). We managed to get that hour of sleep in though and then breakfast, teeth-brushing, load the car, and good-byes:(. It is always so hard to say good-bye. The drive to Duesseldorf Airport went well. There was a light rain throughout the trip, but nothing too terrible. ... You may know that ancient human bones and artefacts were discovered in 1856 (3 years before Darwin's Origin was published) in the valley of the Neander river by a limestone quarry where the finds were made.Very impressive and we hope to have a longer lifespan than of that age.
