    It's not every day that you get to cycle along the Danube on a glorious Autumn day. A group cycled 12 kms (24 km round trip) to the replica of the Parthenon known as the Valhalla which was constructed between 1830 and 1841. Once we reached the grounds we then had to secure our wheels and climb the 466 steps to the top.     Weather sunny and mild. We left Glattfelden at 930am to Schwabach. Experience the Autobahn in Germany with no speed limit, some cars went really fast, 180/200km.     As we were walking across the bridge, an old gentleman on his bike stopped and offered to take our photo. He then insisted on giving us a brochure of Harburg, even though it was all in German, and we obviously didn't speak German. Think he might have been involved with the tourist information office!
