    ... also went for a paddle boat ride for about an hour. And our Australian kids showed the German and Canadian kids how to play touch footy.

    Returning to Liza and Norbet's house we all sat down to a very enjoyable dinner amidst much laughing and telling of stories from the past. The young kids built block empires, the older girls hung out connecting with social media and Joscha played our dinner music on the piano.

    As per Nördlingen, shame about the rain. It meant we just nipped for lunch and a quick wander. Neuburg an der Donau means "new castle on the Danube" and apparently the castle is the main reason for a visit. We admired it from afar as we didn't want to pay to wander round like drowned rats, leaving a third drowned rat stinking out the van!     ... money, getting along, feeling good, and enjoying ourselves! Mailing the box was a challenge because the man we dealt with spoke very little English. We had trouble filling out the paperwork properly...but I think we finally got it right. While John was busy with the paperwork, a little girl came out of the office riding a scooter....and she came up to me and said something I couldn't understand....and then she repeated it crossly when I didn't answer!
