... dunes behind it. And the beach was much shallower into the sea. David enjoyed another session in the Med. We drove up to Leucate and then to La Franqui to see what the coast was like and where the campsite was located. La Franqui is a lovely, small resort without the excesses of larger places. I wandered the village, climbed to a view point, looking out over the Massiv Central, looked at a ruined chapel and then went for coffee. "Cappuccino" was black coffee with thick real cream on top! After the tour, set off toward Andorra, another country when you might say "Where?" Andorra is on the ...

The weather continues to get hotter! After yesterday's reliance on Snooper, I looked carefully at the map before we left. We followed the red tourist train along the valley. We passed by Puilaurens, yet another Cathar castle perched high on the mountain ridge. How did they build them? We found the aire in Quillan easily and having parked, we only had a couple of km to go to get our shopping. Smartie is sooo ...
