Having packed most of the big stuff the night before we only had an hour or so before we left forthe hellish windy mountain road to the motorway. 2 hrs of driving at 30 mph around hairpins is really wearing...... What an interesting first day. Good thing we had a big petit dejeuner in our hotel. We started walking at about 8am and we followed the road UP out of Le Puy. I mean up.
