On arrival it as still overcast and getting into the town necessitated a hairpin turn up a steep hill. We missed the first and got in in the second. The streets were narrower the further in we went, and we finally got stuck on a turn beyond the massive church, the Eglise St Mathurin, where the bells were tolling and a steady stream of people were headed. Almost. Jonathan went to a museum in Lehon while I shopped for souvenirs in Dinan. We met under the clock tower at 12 and had lunch in a strange little cafe, quiche and salad followed by ice cream with salted caramel and Breton biscuits, washed down with coffee.
