    Today we boarded the bus at 8:30 to drive to the medieval town of Pezenas. It was a very charming - cute little shops everywhere. We strolled around the town and took in the sites. There was an interesting Door Museum, which we wandered through and saw doors as old as the 16th century. The whole day was without the frenzy of a million tourists which made it very relaxing.     ... Richard suggested turning around, but I kept insisting it was just around the next curve. Well, when we finally made it to the top, it was well worth the climb. The view was magnificent! There was even a little ice cream shop where I rewarded him with ice cream and a bottle of water for his sticking with me on this feat. It's about 5:30 and I'm blogging now, so perhaps I can get to bed early tonight for another full day tomorrow. And where is Richard - totally enjoying his afternoon nap! ...

    After visiting Barcelona we went out for dinner and then walked along the night markets. Fletch got a caricature done and we tried to explain to the artist that we wanted an AFL ball in the picture. I think we ended up with a Gridiron ball - close enough I suppose.     ... At this point Neville had had enough of getting the bread every morning so the job fell on my shoulders if I wanted to eat that morning. In Europe or at least France, Croatia and Spain breakfast is a non event with a cup of strong coffee your lot. I guess they all go down to the bread shop and buy a loaf or two and take it home and attack it in private because we looked but could not find a breakfast place anywhere.
