Arrived in Amsterdam yesterday, Tim's friend, Woody, was too busy and can only catch up with us Saturday night, so we thought, ok let's go visit Maryke's uncle Falkert (the brother of Tim's beloved Oma). Falkert and his wife (Phinneka, currently visiting her sister in Canada) live just over an hour away from Amsterdam, in Leeuwarden. They diagnosed the issue - a broken split relay thingy, and pointed me in the direction of an auto shop back in the direction I had come from. ... village of Workum to visit the art museum of a famous local artist Jopie Huisman. He was a self taught painter who liked to collect old things and paint them. Fantastic work.
