... totally forgotten about the extra course that my meal came with - cheese! Placed in front of me was a rather hefty wedge of semi-soft cheese with a salty rind upon crushed walnuts and little pieces of toasted 'pain d'épices'.
After eating ALL of that we got on to dessert. I had a massive crème brûlée and Alyssa had some pain d'épices and ice cream.

Lastly, even though I felt slightly inconvenienced about nothing being open, I understand the importance of Armistice Day (and Remembrance Day back home). Especially after being at Juno beach only a few days ago. The Europe Josh and I are enjoying right now would never be the same if not for the sacrifices made by the men and women who served.
