... ridiculous, perhaps the comercants are waiting in hope for rich Arabs, Americans or Russian oligarchs or more likely they are in fools paradise. In Foix, a very attractive medieval fortified town on the French side of the Pyrenees, a cafe owner bemoans the French economy and politicians yet charges double the price of her counterpart across the border in Spain.

Just for a bit of fun, mention the costs of the peage to Monsieur if you want to see a ...

      Day 2

We had to get up early. Our alarm didn't go off because we had it set for 6 pm. Lucky I woke up at 6:15.

We had a very nice breakfast. It was buffet but you could also order other things, like Eggs Benedict.

We started our day with our first yet one of many of the breakfasts we would have at our Hotel and then took the tour bus to visit Moutarderie Fallot which was the mustard factory we would have a tour of and be able try fresh ground mustard paste. We would then have lunch at Le Belena where we met the students from CEFAM and got to learn a ...

We were bussed into Tournus for our walking tour as our ship was still being repaired from its previous bingle. Tournus was an old walled town, as most of them are, and it's main attraction was St Philibert Abbey. A Romanesque church, it was built between the 10th and 12th centuries and contained a quite large crypt originally used as ...
