Plane but Beautiful!
... the brakes were fixed. Next stop was Lourdes – in the rain! Rather disappointing for me, but there was a strong vibration of belief here even if it wasn’t mine! The grotto was surprisingly small and many people queued to touch the sides of the very shallow opening. Tacky tourist shops surrounding the whole area didn’t help much either. We didn’t stay overnight but moved on to a stunning fortified town on a steep hill called St. Bertrand de Comminges. ...
