Today we combined a Hop On - Hop Off city bus tour with a visit to the Mercedes-Benz Museum that was on the route. However, when we arrived to get on the bus at the starting point 20 minutes early the bus was already full, so we needed a 1 hour wait for the next bus. We went for a walk around the shopping mall and nearby parks and returned to queue up 30 minutes early for the next bus. We got on this one, but just as many missed out as did ...

... In the square you will also see a statue of Concordia, The Goddess of Harmony who watches over the square.

We were surprised to see a large crowd, and food vendors gathered for their summer festival. We made our way through the crowds toward the band stand. The singer and musicians, who were very good, were playing familiar American music sometimes singing in English and sometimes in German. There ...

... rather than the previously planned direct route. As I was coming back and walking to the apartment I stopped by a local Kneipe (bar) that was just around the corner. I had seen a beverage listed on the Getränkkarte (drink menu) that I had wanted to ask about and perhaps order. It was quite a small establishment and the dozen or so people there when I arrived left only standing room at the end of the bar. I first ordred a Hefeweizen Bier (wheat beer) and as I was finishing it a group of ...
