      ... terrorist a lot and shouting drugs at me. I was so tired and fed up that I couldn't even react in a shocked or panicked way which I think upset them even more. They emptied my bag all over the table, pens and tampons flying everywhere, I didn't even have the energy to be embarrassed. They started getting more irate that they hadn't found anything illegal on me and I could sense they were getting bored with me. I hoped they would let me go but they moved on to ...

      ... I managed the Belarus border without too much incident and then arrived at the station at Brest where we had to change 'bogey's' as the tracks are different. That was an experience. We were also inundated with Belarusian women trying to sell us beer, chicken and socks!?!?!

      Now in bed - but not on the top bunk thank ...

      Hit the 2000 mile mark today North of Warsaw Still without a map of Russia but we bought the other essentials (wine, shampoo, vodka and brioche). Using the trusty compass to get by and shaking it when it doesn't agree with us! At least we are driving through beautiful countryside with lots of storks, wherever we are heading. Heard from another team that it took them 5 hours to get over the Russian border so trying to get there early with our camping ...

      ... the crooks of my arms started to get wet. Then my shoes, and then my chest. The water found a passage from the my elbows down to my gloves, so eventually my arms were simply wet. Initially it was uncomfortable and cold, but after a while I just... got used to it.
