From this space ship of a hub they monitor everything that is happening around the track on nearly hundred computer screens. They have guys who broadcast all of the sound such as the national anthems, others who change the colour of the circuit to make the track and the weather appear brighter ...

Today was a lie in, (no alarm clock was bliss) and lazy morning kind of day. After having a slow get ready and chilled breakfast and pack up making session, we headed out to see what we could find. At first, we went to fetch money so we could pay for the hotel, as their machine didn't like our cards, and then headed out towards the river to find the funicular up the hill, and to see what else we can find.

... down to check out and go and find the tram to get us to the train station. Fortunately, we got on the correct tram and got to the right train platform safely and remarkably easily.
There isn't much to say about the journey, other than that we sat on the train for just over 4 hours, snoozing and gazing out of the windows at the passing hills and towns, with some really lovely views ...
