... hot! The locals by the lake said it bad been 40 degrees and It's now 10.30 at night and It still feels like 40 degrees! We didn't put an awning up this time as we are only here for the night so we decided to get out the mozzy net, peg it to the door and sleep with the van door wide open to try and let some draught in! I can tell its going to take us a while to turn over so ill say night now and hopefully we won't be cooked over night! ...

Despite not speaking English, we have managed to find our way around the city fairly easily. The bus drivers don’t seem to mind that we point to our destination and miss pronounce ‘thank you’ in Slovak every morning (ďakujem). But now, with the starting of the official summer, our almost endless spring is ending: temperature has gone up to 30 degrees C, the grain is ready to be harvested, the sun flowers are in bloom, the fresh green of the trees has disappeared and is replaced by the dark green of the summer, the corn is almost too high to look over it.
