Then we went to the Ginowan Convention Center. It was rather simple compared the the performing arts hall.
          Sunsets and sunrises were amazing.
Other places we visited were the Okinawan beer,Orion Factory. This beer is made from barley, rice and corn with the hops and yeast. Drinking beer at 11 am did not go to well with me or maybe it was because we had 5 minutes to ...

... as of late and not scorching hot like it was in July when I first got here. I would really like to go snorkeling before it gets cool (I say cool because I'm not sure if "cold" actually exists here). These are my plans for October so far. I will do my very best to update again toward the end of the month because I know this entry was pretty long and I included a TON of pictures.

To my friends and family who are still reading along; I love you and miss you guys! Until next time :)

The biggest problem with the beach was I found a lot of red ants kept crawling onto my towel and I got a few bites. I also explored around the island a bit more, finding the Cave of Shirumihcu, creator god of Okinawan lore (unfortunately it was closed) and another amazing ...

... salt, plain sea salt, etc. etc. I opted for the hibiscus salt and shook it all over my ice cream. The result was... interesting. The salt itself was pink, but tasted just like any other salt. On top of the ice cream, it was tasty, and I wolfed it down entirely too quickly.

With a happy tummy and tired of all the walking, we returned to our car, and back home to scheme up our next adventure.

This weekend is the Eisa Festival here in Okinawa. There will ...

... summer evening party). The girls had tons of fun and we all enjoyed hanging out. We even had some s'mores. My boss's children decided I was a kid also because I like s'mores so much! Eventually some of the guys that had left earlier for spearfishing came back with a bounty of fish. Though it was midnight, they started preparing a lot of it. I got to taste VERY fresh squid and some other things that maybe ...
