... then it must be here. The food was simply disgusting and not even good for a rat. I simply left it and went elsewhere.

As the sun went down it began to get extremely cool and with the night sky as clear as it is I would say its going to be a rather cold night. Then again what does one expect up at 4000m??

Its 4am now and looking outside at the cars and my poor bike there is ice all around so I hate to think what temp it is out there now.

... great family thing to do. Shane put on Christoph's gear and climbed the large boulder... felt pretty good about that!
The next day we all set off for Austria. The trail we chose took us past three caves which had to be explored by kids and adults alike. One part of the path was so steep I was wishing we'd brought along the ropes and clips. What a stunning way to end the week. We had a picnic in Austria at the pass before taking the long way back to ...

... their bells and wreaths of greenery with fresh flowers around their necks. Eldon thought he got a video of it, but for some reason it didn't work. It was so cool to see. They were bringing the cattle down from the high summer pastures to the lower winter area.

We had hoped to spend a night in this area but there was an obvious celebration going on in all the little villages. ...

    Wonderful Wildspitze

Moved on this morning, up the Pitztal valley, just south
of Imst. Went up to the Pitztal glacier, taking the Glacier Express(tunnel
train) followed Tyrol’s highest cable car to the restaurant at 3,440m, near the
top of the Wildspitze (3,774m). Perfect weather for a day in the snow – blue
    skies and no wind.

Staying near Jerzens tonight. Had a great evening meal at
    the campsite restaurant ...
