With 1000km to drive in 2 days to get to Logrono to meet the girls, we had a fair bit of driving to do. ... we will be staying in the middle of Picos de Europa. It's another thing we were really looking forward to. Once you got off the highway, it was about 1 hour of rural windy road through little villages and amazing jaw dropping vistas. This place is stunning. We love mountains in BC, but mountains here look so different with lime stone formations, deep gorges and green meadows where horses, cows, sheep and tons of goats gazing.
