    Woke up to heavy rain so put the top up, packed and took off. Did not put the sidescreens in. By the time I left rain had abated, but wind had picked up.     ... to our place Hostal Brasas in about 10 minutes. We wanted to get there early to run errands, as we needed to get to the post office to pick up our stuff we sent ahead in Santander, and send it a bit further to Santiago.

    We found a can of toxic looking fly spray earlier on top of the vending machine. We thought about spraying it, however the warning advised the user to make sure the room was clear for 30 minutes after spraying. So we decided it was best not to breath it in.

    ... the walk on to San Esteban de Leces was a long gradual uphill, that we spend in direct sun. I rememer just being so freaking hot. Luckily our Uncle Darren was having a birthday today, as me and Abby passed the time making up a birthday song for him. This provided enough distraction and humor to push us all up the never ending hill.
