... back to the boyfriend to see the photo to only find out that gravity and poor photography skills had won again. Who can blame them though, everyone loves an epic jump shot in front of iconic signs!

I was not the only one who had the museum in mind on this rainy day, I realized as I waited in line for an hour to buy a ticket. Once inside I got right down to business and got my art on. I've never seen van Gogh's original pieces and walking around I was ...

We hired bikes today! There are bikes EVERYWHERE in Amsterdam. They are parked all over the streets and ring their bells when you're in their way. We spent a bit of time just riding around aimlessly soaking it all in. We then headed for the Anne frank house. It was really well set up and respectful. By 6am I was wide awake and if I'd been asked to walk 25 miles, I would have had the energy, but not the legs. I could hardly wedge my swollen feet into my trainers. I sat with my feet up on GJ's couch and we talked for hours about everything, from GJ's new job to the state of the farcical high-speed railway to Belgium. It was good to catch up.

... he started his own restaurant with great passion! He can speak 4.5 languages: Tibetan, Hindi, English, Dutch and read Sanskrit (he also understands German). We had a great dinner with great service.

Next stop, some Amsterdam "culture" so we are off to the Red Light District and the Cafe's. After a short walk we arrive. Loretta read online a comparison to Vegas, which it does resemble on a smaller more European level. As we ...
