I headed for the docks to see a old steam ship that is being restored there
and after that the satnav was set up to get me out of town and onwards through
Slovenia and beyond.
Down at the docks the temp was a wonderful 19 Celsius but as I started
climbing the steep roads out of the city it began to get colder by the minute
and by the time I am out the city the temp has fallen to 11 Celsius. Heated

... the laptop fixed but it needs more time to find the problem so will have to wait till Salzburg. We have enjoyed our stay here but it has been made more difficult by not having wifi at the flat. That has been the only disappointment. Tomorrow we have a taxi booked for 10 and the train leaves at 11.40. So here we are, getting set for our 2014 Balkan Adventure. After 2 days of ferocious packing and cleaning, as we vacate what has been our Reception, Bar and Restaurant for the last six and a half years, we have collapsed in a heap pending some last minute personal packing and 'making ourselves look beautiful' preparations - so much to do, so little time!
