Stranded in St Moritz
... but there was no place at all!!! In the end I ended up having to go into a rather nice hotel which seemed the only place in the town to have any life in it. Here I decided I better have lunch and a cuppa and afterwards headed back to my own hotel!!
By now I was extremely bored!! I asked the hotel reception about hiring a bicycle for a cycle around the lake but that was also a no go!!!

Sunshine and snow in the Alps
... leads into St Moritz. It’s now raining heavily and after a ride around the town I decide it’s time to find a hotel for tonight. As this is St Moritz I know it’s going to be rather expensive so headed off out of town in search of one of the cheaper hotels.
By the time I find a suitable hotel the rain has turned to snow and really is not looking promising for my onward trip tomorrow!!! Am I going to be stuck in St Moritz for a few days??? Oh no, what a place to be stuck ...
Chur and the train trip to Morges
... side. Now a race against time it's 11:49 - check out for the hotel is 12noon and the train goes to Morges at 12:16. We get to the hotel at 12:01 get our bags and board the train at 12:15 - now that is to the minute timing! We have to make a change at Zurich and Camille had only downloaded up to the 12.09 train, so with a bit of guess work using the previous train times, we managed to make the connection with about 8 minutes to spare! Not much in Lichtenstein

After less than an hour I was in Lidau, a town on the edge of the big Lake Bodensee in the south of Germany (the lake borders Germany, Austria and Switzerland!).
